Classic
One thing that is undeniable is that this movie is timeless. Although the movie is set in the 80's, something about it makes it a movie you can watch anytime of day, anytime of year, in any year since it's birth. It's a three hour movie that pulls you in and brings you along for the ride making you feel like you're there.
Storyline
This storyline is powerful becuase it takes classics storylines and intertwines them with flare. The kid who came from nothing, but had ambition and big dreams using that to make a life they could be proud of. The other storyline it uses is rise and fall. It takes you on the journey of a overly succesful kingpin and just when he gets to the tippy top you watch his tragic fall.
Soundtrack/ Visuals
It seems as if the recipe for the Jacksons’ was an amazing intro, Michael Jackson vocals. This song follows the same design as the two previously mentioned. This song has a catchy tune with a summertime feel.
